Trash and Recycling

Important

Please dispose all garbage and recycling waste before check-out and departure.

Keep the following in mind before your check-out-day: if you need to throw away only the blue waste bag and separate glass and PET plastic bottles, you can do so 24/7 at the disposal on the main parking in town (see map below).

If you need to throw away other special garbage such as organic or wet waste, metal cans, …, you have to take this kind of waste to the recycling center (see map below) and pay special attention to the OPENING HOURS*.

General Waste

General waste, which includes items that cannot be recycled or composted, should be placed in the designated blue waste bags (see image below) provided in the apartment (one bag at your disposal in the apartment, more can be purchased at supermarkets, cost: CHF 2.50 each).

You can find trash containers on Schwandstrasse, in the corner of the sharp turn into Zelglistrasse or down in the village (see image).

Plastic/Glass/Aluminium

In the kitchen you find bins for the following waste separation: plastic bottles, glass bottles and aluminium cans. They can be recycled at the recycling center Wyden down in town.
